The Guerrieri Rizzardi 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 3 Cru (with 37,000 bottles released) is a blend of fruit from three vineyard sites; they are Rovereti, Pojega and Calcarole. From a hot and dry vintage, the wine is balanced and silky in texture with medium to full bodied concentration. The alcohol content is high at 16%, but the wine carries that heat discreetly, for the most part. The blend is 47% Corvina,
