Wwi Silver War Badge Newly Listed circa 1930’sWWI Silver War Badge Silver, inscribed "FOR KING AND EMPIRE" and "SERVICES RENDERED" surrounding the monogram of George V on the obverse, reverse is numbered "C 39768", 33 mm, vertical pinback, better than very fine. Footnote: The badge was awarded to service personnel who sustained a wound or contracted sickness or disabliity in the course of the war as a result of which they were invalided out.
